Aaloo Gobi



Ingredients


  • Cauliflower (Gobi)- 1 no( Chopped into small forest)
  • Potato(Aaloo)- 2-3 no (boiled , peeled and chopped into big cubes)
  • Onion-1 1/2 cups (Chopped)
  • Tomato-1 cup (chopped)
  • Garlic- A pod
  • Ginger-1/2 tsp(shredded)
  • Heeng- a pinch
  • Jeera-1/4 tsp
  • curd-1 cup
  • Garam Masala-1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder-1/4 tsp Jeera power-1/4 tsp
  • chili powder-to taste
  • salt-to taste
  • oil -3 tsp


Procedure

  1. Heat oil over medium heat
  2. Add the jeera and heeng
  3. After jeera splutters add the chopped onions and garlic
  4. cook the onions till they turn golden brown
  5. Add garam masala,cumin and coriander ,turmeric and chill powder
  6. cook for a minute
  7. add the tomatoes and ginger
  8. cook till the oil shows up
  9. add the curd
  10. stir for a minute
  11. add the cauliflower
  12. cook until the cauliflower becomes cooks well
  13. you may close the lid if you would like the cauliflower to be very tender
  14. Add the potato
  15. Add salt
  16. cook for 5 minutes

Garnish it with lots of chopped coriander leafs and green chilies
