Ingredients
- Onion-1 1/2 Cup chopped
- Tomato- 3 no’s chopped
- Garlic-1 pod
- Garam masala-1/4th tsp
- Ginger-1/4th tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
- Jeera powder-1/4th tsp
- Heeng
- Salt
- Oil-4tsp
Procedure
- Apply oil to a brinjal and place it on the stove, directly
- Keep rotating it on all sides so that it cook evenly-
- Repeat the 1 and 2 steps for all the brinjals and allow them to cool
- Then peal off the black skin
- Smash them well
- Take a pan and heat it
- Add the oil and heeng
- Add the chopped onions and stir fry till cooked (add garlic if u like)
- Add chopped tomatoes, let it cook until the oil floats on top
- Add the coriander powder, jeera powder,chili powder
- Add the smashed brinjal and ginger
- And cook for 10-12 minutes
Garnish it with lots of fresh green chili and coriander leafs , serve hot with rice or roti
